About your Monterey Park insulation contractor

Who we are, how I got into insulation, and what you can expect when our crew works in your attic, walls or crawl space.

Spray foam insulation fills the walls and sloped ceiling of a metal-framed room beside an open doorway.

How I got into insulation

Before I started this company, I spent years doing upkeep for a property management company. A lot of that job was chasing hot rooms upstairs, drafty bedrooms and attics somebody else had done wrong, so I learned insulation by fixing it. In 2013 I went out on my own and started Monterey Park Spray Foam Insulation here in Monterey Park.

We work in Monterey Park and the cities around it across the San Gabriel Valley and the east side of LA County. Homeowners call us, and so do landlords and property managers who need the work done around tenants. What I care about is the part nobody sees once the hatch closes or the drywall goes up. I spent too long cleaning up after people who rushed, so doing it right the first time matters more to me than a quick sale.

What you can count on from us

  1. We look before we price anything

I come out and go over your attic, walls or crawl space myself before I put an estimate together. That way you pay for what your house needs, not a stock package.

  2. We point out what would hold new insulation back

If a roof leak, a bathroom fan venting into the attic or open gaps around can lights would undercut the job, we tell you before we start. Fixing those first is what lets the insulation you pay for do its job.

  3. We stop if old insulation might be asbestos

When old material looks like it could contain asbestos, we get it tested before anyone touches it. A day's wait beats stirring it up in your house.

Licenses and permits

Serving Monterey Park and 11 surrounding cities

  • California contractor license

The state licenses anyone who builds or alters a building, and a contractor needs that license when the job needs a building permit, uses employees, or runs $1,000 or more in labor and materials. A bigger job can't be split into smaller pieces to get around it, and we're fully licensed and insured.

  • Permits and inspections

When a job needs a permit, we pull it and set up the inspection. Each city or county office handles things a little differently, so we check with the one for your address before work starts.

  • Fully licensed and insured.
  • Free in-person estimates.
  • Expect a reply within 1 business day.
